Avemar is a food for special medical purposes, which is intended for the dietary management in cancer patients with malignant tumors of different types and different location. Avemar supplemented the diet of people with cancer during and after radiation therapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, surgery and others. Taking it can be started at any stage after detection of malignancy. Avemar is recommended to be taken without interruption before, during the full course and after cancer treatments. After surgery, administration of the product should begin when the patient is unable to take oral food at least four days without complications.
Side effects: soft stools, restless stomach and nausea are rare side effects of taking Avemar.
Avemar is contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation. Avemar is also strictly contraindicated for patients undergoing organ transplants or tissues. Dietary foods can not be consumed by patients suffering from bleeding and / or ulceration of the gastrointestinal tract, stomach and duodenum, enteritis / colitis (severe inflammations of the gastro – intestinal tract) or malabsorption syndrome (serious impairment of absorption). The product is contraindicated in gluten sensitive enteropathy (celiac sprue) and for patients with hereditary fructose intolerance or with hypersensitivity to any of the components and ingredients of the product.
Avemar does not replace oncological treatment and medication!

The product is not intended for use as a sole source of nutrients. It is advisable to follow the advice of the doctor in procedures using oral contrast material. Diabetics may take Avemar, taking into account the carbohydrate content of the product. If the patient has to take vitamin C, it Avemar should be consumed 2 hours before or after taking any preparation containing vitamin C. It is appropriate that the product be taken at a different time from other supplements or drugs.
Preparation of a single dose: Pour the contents of one sachet of Avemar (17 g.) In a cup. Add 100-200 ml. water, stir well and drink the entire contents. The resulting solution should be drunk within 30 minutes after its preparation. Any unused solution should be discarded.
– For adults weighing less than 90 kg. – 1 sachet per day, equal to 8.5 g. Dry fermented wheat germ – Avemar 1 hour before lunch.
– For adults weighing over 90 kg. – 2 sachets per day, equivalent to 17 g. Dry fermented wheat germ – Avemar, divided into two doses – 1 hour before breakfast and dinner.
The active ingredient of Avemar is Avemar pulvis (Avemar pulvis), which is an extract of selected, high-quality wheat germ subjected to biotechnological process due to give a nutritional composition (as indicated in the table below) suitable under the described conditions.
